Dedicated Server Hosting Services

To insure the reliability, availability, security and performance of the network and our customers' managed dedicated server(s) we provide a comprehensive array of managed services. We understand that our customers store valuable and confidential information on our equipment. Therefore, we provide the services that guarantee availability and protection of all data at all times.

Server Administration and Maintenance

All our managed dedicated servers include basic administration and routine server maintenance.

Hardware Administration

Advanced Media Productions guarantees the functioning of all leased hardware components and will replace any failed component at no cost to the customer. Hardware is defined as the processor(s), RAM, hard disk(s), motherboard, NIC card and other related hardware included under the server lease.

Software Administration

All our servers include a software administration service that monitors the standard web port on an ongoing basis. This is a passive monitoring service that tests the web port at 5-minute intervals. If we detect a web port failure, we will restart IIS. If this fails, we will reboot the server. In addition we provide application monitoring - we check not only the HTTP server, but also the application behind the HTTP request (e.g. ColdFusion and ASP). This is standard with all dedicated servers. We also provide additional availability and performance monitoring for our customers.

Routine Server Maintenance

In order to ensure that the web servers remain operational, Advanced Media Productions will perform routine maintenance on all server. This will include installation of security patches, system updates, disk defragmentation, etc.

Minor system patches will be installed within two weeks of the release date during the next scheduled maintenance period to minimize service disruption. Critical security updates will be installed immediately as they are released. Major service packs will be installed within two months of the release date to allow for proper testing in a pre-production environment.

Network Administration

Network Administration includes the management and monitoring of all switches and routers of the "Cisco Powered Network" and multiple redundant high-speed connections to the Internet. Our Network Administration service guarantees 99.9% network uptime.

System Administration Services

Advanced Media Productions offers System Administration Services on an hourly basis. These service include application software installations, adding and configuring domains, adding and configuring mail accounts and mail software, adding and configuring capital accounts, adding and configuring DNS entries, installing and configuring news software, and other system maintenance as required.
