In the unlikely event of data loss, we provide fast accurate data recovery - so you do not have to worry about backing up your content. We can also support back-up of live SQL Server databases without shutting down the database. Our back-up service offers the following options:<br><br> <strong>Tape Drives</strong><br> To subscribe to our tape back-up solution you must have a tape drive installed on your server. All our dedicated servers can be configured with tape drives for a full daily tape back-up of system, database and content files. We use Sony AIT drives because of their speed and reliability. Currently we offer the following sizes: 35GB, 50GB, and 100GB. For maximum protection, we highly recommend implementing our tape rotation service.<br><br> 35 GB Sony AIT SCSI tape drive <br> Monthly charge $200 per month <br> Set-up $250 per month <br><br> 50 GB Sony AIT SCSI tape drive <br> Monthly charge $300 per month <br> Set-up $250 per month <br><br> 100 GB Sony AIT SCSI tape drive <br> Monthly charge $800 per month <br> Set-up $250 per month <br><br> <strong>Tape Back-up Software</strong><br> Several choices are available for the back-up of data to a tape drive depending on how comprehensive you would like the back-up to be. Back-ups are performed through UltraBac software.<br><br> The UltraBac single server back-up option is ideal for the back-up of data to a single server. This option can be used in single server mode, in conjunction with Level 1 (see below), in conjunction with Level 2, or in conjunction with both.<br> Important note: Allows back-up of the licensed server only.<br><br> LEVEL 1: General Locked File Backup - Level 1 gives you the ability to back up locked exclusive files or files that Windows 2000 cannot access while open (i.e. WINS database, local PST files, etc.). Level 1 backup can be used in conjunction with Level 2 or can be purchased independently.<br> Important note: Local backup only to tape.<br><br> LEVEL 2: SQL Backup (Single + SQL database) - Level 2 gives you the ability to back up an open Microsoft SQL server database without closing the application. Level 2 backup can be used in conjunction with Level 1 or can be purchased independently.<br> Important note: This is the only option we offer that provides full backup of the MS SQL database and all its files while the server is online.<br><br> Ultrabac Single Server back-up: $ 70.00 <br> Ultrabac Single Server back-up + SQL: $143.00 <br><br> <strong>Tape Rotation Service</strong><br> To ensure data reliability, we offer tape rotation on a weekly or monthly basis. This service can be used in conjunction with our tape back-up service. All tapes are stored in an off-site, fire-safe, secured facility. Tape rotation is performed late Sunday evenings unless otherwise specified.<br><br> Tape Rotation Service - 35 GB tape drive <br> Monthly charge $57 per month <br> Set-up $145 per month <br><br> Tape Rotation Service - 50 GB tape drive <br> Monthly charge $65 per month <br> Set-up $152 per month <br><br> Tape Rotation Service - 100 GB tape drive <br> Monthly charge $70 per month <br> Set-up $1160 per month <br><br> Back-up service fees cover only routine and scheduled back-up operations. They do not cover the process of restoring files. File restoration will be provided at customer request at our standard System Administration Service Rates.<br><br> While we will do everything in our power to maintain tape backup hardware properly, we cannot guarantee its integrity.
