To maximize
site performance and availability, network services have been engineered
to work seamlessly with your server to provide high reliability,
maximum security and efficient content distribution. All servers
are connected to core switches via a 100 MB Ethernet connections.
For customers with multiple servers we offer load balancing and
private internal networks.
InternNet
Private Network
InternNet is a networking service that provides customers with multiple
servers with their own private internal network among those servers.
This allows multiple servers to exchange data exclusively between
each other, avoiding the public Internet switch. This not only increases
data security and system performance, since it provides a dedicated
data path between servers, but can also cut bandwidth costs because
there is no charge for bandwidth costs within the InternNet network.
InternNet primarily benefits those companies hosting high-traffic
database driven web sites and complex web applications.

Load-Balancing
Load balancing is the process of using multiple servers in parallel
to allow Internet traffic to be distributed among them. Traffic
distribution is accomplished according to different methodologies
the most common of which is distributing a high number of concurrent
connections among a multiple of servers. Load balancing will allow
for seamless scalability as well. Servers can be added or removed
from the cluster on demand without any downtime.
Benefits
of Load Balancing
 |
Traffic
distribution - spreads traffic across multiple servers. |
 |
Redundancy
- multiple small servers instead of one large server. |
 |
Security
- inter-server data transfer via local network. |
 |
Cost
reduction - no bandwidth charges for inter-server traffic
on local network. |
