iOS Mobile Application Software Engineer - Part-time/Onsite or Remote
Advanced Media Productions is seeking an experienced, passionate and highly motivated Mobile Application Software Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of design and development experience, at least 2+ of which in mobile, to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop mobile applications from product and graphic design specifications to complete product on the iOS (iPhone/iPad) platform
- Participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle including requirements analysis, estimating, design, implementation, testing, and release
- Perform troubleshooting and programming analysis of existing mobile apps
- Act as a resource and thought leader for the design and implementation of mobile technologies
- Evaluate new technologies and remain cognizant of mobile software industry developments
- Help define mobile application product requirements, features, and functionality
Job Requirements
- 5+ years experience in an object oriented programming language (Java, C++, Objective-C, C#, or similar), including 2+ years Objective-C preferably on the iPhone and/or Android
- Real-world experience building consumer-facing Web applications
- Hands-on experience developing iOS mobile applications. Experience on other platforms, including Android is a plus
- Working knowledge of front-end technologies HTML-5, CSS-3, JavaScript, Ajax
- Experience with the Linux PHP or Coldfusion development environment and plus
- Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns, components, reuse, and OOP and framework
- Must be able to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing requirements in a fast paced environment
- Good understanding of benefits and constraints of current Internet technologies
- Very strong problem solving, testing, and debugging skills
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to tightly manage time and project responsibilities and able to work on multiple projects at one time
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to thrive working in a fast development team and working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
- Candidates must have current work authorization in the US
- B.S. Computer Science or equivalent experience
