Publisher Ad Management Service

The Publisher Ad Management Service provides web publishers with a unique program for selling and managing premium ad space on their web sites. Through the Google DFP Small Business-based Publisher Ad Management Service, small to medium size web publishers that sell premium advertising through a direct sales force or a third-party ad network, will be able to more effectively manage their available inventory, improve their productivity and customer satisfaction and generate additional revenue. The Publisher Ad Management Service also provides publishers with the option to sell any unsold ad space by the DFP Small Business program through the Google’s AdSense system.

Google DFP Small Business

Google DFP Small Business is a free ad serving and inventory management system designed to address the ad sales and management needs of small and medium-sized publishers with small advertising sales teams. The system brings both greater simplicity and more control to the ad management operations of smaller publishers.

DFP Small Business assists publishers with selling, scheduling, delivering and measuring their directly-sold and network-based ad inventory. It offers a simple tagging process, detailed inventory forecasts, campaign performance and revenue tracking tools. The DFP Small Business service handles various ad formats, including graphical display, video and text ads.

Google AdSense

AdSense is a free Google ad network service that offers Web publishers of all sizes immediate access to a vast network of advertisers to earn ad revenue from the display of contextually targeted Google ads on selected pages of their web site(s). To facilitate placement of ads on Web publisher sites, the Google AdSense system employs a real-time context matching and bidding system to determine the placement of relevant CPC (cost-per-click) and CPM (cost per thousand impressions) ads in text, image and video format.

AdSense can be integrated in the Google DFP Small Business ad serving and inventory management system. This provides publishers with the option to allow available AdSense ad units to compete with DFP Small Business ad units and third party ad network orders for placement by calculating, in real-time, which ad network will deliver the best CPM for the publisher and serve those ad units on the publishers’ web site.

In addition to serving relevant ads on publisher Web sites, the Google AdSense program also enables publishers to display relevant text and image ads on mobile web pages and RSS feeds.
